A bit about me

I’ve always had an interest in interiors from a young age, I always liked my bedroom to look stand out and I would be found rearranging the layout on a regular basis.

On graduating I taught Design Technology in secondary schools, which I did for 8 years. Although I enjoyed it immensely, I felt it was time to head in a different direction. I therefore decided to take time out from my career to start a family as I knew I couldn’t balance both.

During this period I had 2 children, Albie who is now 16 and Emmie who is 11. I found it quite difficult not being in employment and needed a new challenge so me and my husband decided to open a flooring shop. I ran this for 8 years but eventually decided to close it after the birth of my daughter.

I’ve been a renter for the last 16 years and used to have the opinion that I didn’t want to invest time and money into a rented property. Although after renting for several years I decided that I could no longer stand the magnolia walls. I started with accent walls as I thought they would be easier to change if needed but once I started I couldn’t stop! At this time I began sharing my home on Instagram and realised it was something that I was rather good at and secured myself a good following.

The world of interiors became an addiction and it was a great feeling that people liked what I was doing. From this Someone who had been following my account asked me to help them with their interior. It was a scary thought but from this moment I realised that it was something I could do, I had finally found my niche and have been doing it ever since.

During this time I have been lucky enough to be featured in Homestyle magazine and more recently I have had a magazine shoot which will be featured in the July issue of style at Home.

It may be that you have already decorated a room but it requires a little extra attention. Sometimes it’s difficult to know how to pull a scheme together or you need a little confidence in making choices. I can offer help with finishing off your space, advising you on soft furnishings or choosing suitable wall art, all in all giving your room the Wow factor it deserves.
This service includes an Initial consultation where we discuss you needs, any constraints you may have as well as your budget. This consultation is absolutely free of charge and at this point you are under no obligation to proceed.

If you are happy to proceed you will receive:

A mood board of all chosen products, this will show you all products chosen and help you visualise what the room will look like.
Website links for ease of purchase.
It’s important for me that you are fully involved in this process so I will make myself available to you throughout.

This is charged as a remote service only, if you would prefer this done in person then this can be provided.

Package 2

£199 - £249

This is for a full room design. A free initial consultation is also offered with this package.

If you decide to proceed with the design then you will receive the following:

A mood board that shows all products chosen for your room. This board will also include visuals that will allow you to see what the finished space will look like.
Web site links to all products chosen for ease of purchase.
A floor plan which shows product placement
I will also make myself available to you throughout the process.

This is charged depending on the size of the space to be designed. Smaller rooms are charged at £199 and larger spaces at £249.

These prices are charged for a remote service only but again personal consultation is available.
